Here's some information about my school, Procter R. Hug High School! Founded back in the 60's, hug today is known for their prestigious Magnet Program, boasting a heavy workload of AP, Honors, and advanced-level courses designed to challenge students and prepare them for college!
Hug High School is one of the newest campuses avaliable to high school students. Having opened its doors only 4 years ago, the brand-new building boasts a multitude of ameneties comparable to a mini college campus. Below are some examples of our school's award winning architecture!
Displayed here are just a few of our many ameneties! The first image shows a mini lunch room, a compenent critical to students in a time crunch. Whether purchasing snacks with school currency or trying to get lunch, these kiosks are found scattered on the second and third floors away from the main cafeteria as a quick, easy alternative for students on the go!
The next image showcases the Learning Stairs, a major part of the school. Found between the second and third floors, this area of the building is a collaborative learning space as well as a miniature conference hall. Complete with outlets, seating, plenty of room, and a large display monitor facing the stairs, students and teachers alike can utilize the space for more open activity, active discussion, or as a change of pace from the common classroom!
Finally, this image showcases the school's library. Boasting a wide first floor and a condensed second floor for testing, the library is a quiet space that promotes collaboration, learning, and testing through its multiple unique parts!
